Summer in Armenia lasts from June- September, with temperatures fluctuating between 22 and 42 degree Celsius in Yerevan. Low humidity levels contribute to high temperatures, but relief is at hand in the evenings when refreshing breezes blow down the mountain providing a cooling outcome. Summer droughts are common as are earthquakes. Armenia Weather is at its best between the months of May and October which is a perfect time to visit. Ararat and the southwest of Armenia are said to have the most pleasant weather as the forested mountains are protected from the sun and harsh effects of the wind storms.
However, Armenia Weather is at its finest in the plain of Ararat and to the southwest, as well as the wooded mountains where trees offer protection not only from the sand, but from devastating storms as well.
